About Us

Our Charter with CMAA states:

The primary purpose of the CMAA Regional Chapters program are to extend the reach of the national organization through the active involvement of the individual members at the local level and to expand the benefits of CMAA membership for those residing in areas that have adequate members and interest to support a local chapter interest.

The objectives of the chapters themselves are defined in the Standard Regional Chapter Bylaws. These include objectives, which are intended to further the Mission of CMAA:

“To promote and enhance leadership, professionalism, and excellence in managing the development and construction of projects and programs."

Regional Objectives:

  1. Promoting and supporting the purposes and objectives of CMAA in the local design and construction community
  2. Promoting and encouraging the growth of CM and the improvement of the CM practice
  3. Promoting CM through relationships with academic institutions and student organizations
  4. Providing regional activities for CMAA members.

Through these objectives SAC, and all other regional chapters, become an integral part of the Vision for the Organization:

“To be the recognized authority in managing the development and construction of projects and programs."
